MINIMAL CONCRETE
Low environmental impact,
minimal disruption during installation
Because our swings are free-standing, braced structures they do not need the support of large concrete foundations. This is better for the environment, less expensive, and causes far less disruption and mess during installation.
Furthermore, if you wish to remove the swing 50 years down the line, it can simply be pulled from the ground, with no need for plant equipment to dig out large lumps of concrete.
We are always looking to minimise the use of concrete, and on our swing frames we have done away with it entirely.
Our technical manufacturing skills and engineering expertise mean we can build huge free-standing structures without the need for large foundations. This minimises the need for concrete, and creates far less mess and disruption than traditional groundwork.
Even large walkways and platforms only require minimal concrete pads, which are far less costly, damaging, and carbon-intensive than a large poured concrete slab.

Galvanised feet eliminate wood rot
On our larger structures, galvanised steel feet sitting atop minimal concrete pads mean the wood is never in contact with the ground, ensuring proper rainwater drainage and massively extended lifespan.
These are heavy-duty hot-dip galvanised steel feet, custom fabricated to our specifications, vastly superior to off-the-shelf alternatives.
