Rondavel ROUND HOUSE

Commissioned by Bristol University Botanical Gardens

This is our take on a South African style round house called a Rondavel. We used thin strips of Douglas fir to weave the wall panels which are soon to be covered in Daub (a natural mix of clay, sand and straw).

The rafters are Norway Spruce and will be thatched with a South African grass.
